Pingu is charged with looking after the school pet. It's a crotchety crab that doesn't like Pingu and nips him on the beak whenever he holds it! But when the crab pinches Father, he throws it into a fishing hole. Pingu gets Robby to help him to find a replacement crab so that he doesn't get into trouble, and the new one is much fonder of Pingu. It even likes having its tummy tickled!
