Rusty gives Sporty a medal, telling him he's her hero. Sporty would like to be a hero but isn't too sure how to set about it. Scary tells him what heroes wear and say, but Sporty doesn't think that's enough. Stretchy tells him being fired out of a spring-a-ding-ding should do it but Sporty doesn't think that's enough either. Tiny understands. In the end Sporty feels like a hero when he saves Messy from danger.
