14 of the nation鈥檚 top chefs are battling it out in the ultimate cookery contest. Two top chefs from a different region will be competing head to head to win the chance to cook at a fantastic four course banquet hosted by the British Ambassador to France. The banquet will be held at the magnificent Embassy in Paris, which has a proud reputation for championing the best of British.

2006鈥檚 finalist for the South East, Atul Kochhar, is fighting hard to hang on to his title against his kitchen opponent Stuart Gillies. For their desserts, Stuart prepares vanilla and gingerbread cheesecake and Atul presents an apple tasting of the South East. Presented by Jennie Bond.
