Peggy does her maternal duty.

Roy chats to Caroline about Oliver's cheese tasting at Grey Gables and suggests taking it on there, as it's a local cheese. Amused Caroline reckons they should wait for the results of the tasting first. Later Roy compiles a pie chart demonstrating that the cheese was pretty popular amongst samplers.

Caroline's impressed when Brenda shows her the essay she's written on 'marketing a quality product'.

Alice and Adam get the caravans ready for the pickers arriving on Sunday.

Concerned Peggy offers to cook Jennifer supper while Pat looks after Jack; Brian may have abandoned her but at least Peggy can look after her. Peggy says Jennifer's doing a good job with Alice, keeping things normal. Jennifer's defensive when Peggy points out she still doesn't have to take on Ruairi. Now Siobhan's not going to get better, Jennifer knows that Brian will take his son whatever happens - and she wants to stay with Brian. Jennifer needs Peggy's support even if she doesn't agree with her decision.

Fallon, Kirsty and Brenda have a great girls night out at a Felpersham bar. But Emma's exhausted from working and looking after George. Observing that Emma's always tired, Kirsty wonders if it was the right night out for her after all.
