I Believe in Miracles
Investigative documentary series. This programme follows two people in search of a miracle at Lourdes, and a man who claims to have experienced one.
International investigative documentary series. Saints and miracles are good for the Catholic Church. 500 new saints have been created since the Church reduced the number of miracles required for sainthood from four to two. But at the French pilgrimage site of Lourdes only 67 miracles have been recognised in the last 150 years - so the church authorities there have introduced a new sub-miracle category to boost the numbers. This programme follows two journeys: Susan Higgins and her father Ken on their first trip to Lourdes in search of a miracle; and Phil McCord, who has had a miracle on his trip from Indiana to Rome to see his benefactor made into a saint.
