Carol Klein presents a series following 20 gardeners as they try to have their gardens accepted into the National Gardens Scheme. Gerald's 20-acre plot has a cottage garden, herbaceous borders and a prairie. While spectacular, it has a steep bank that needs good plants. Maggie has created a jungle-themed area in the centre of Brighton, with many plants and structures. Her garden is small, and the lawn is affected by the shade.
