Ian Skelly introduces a concert given by the Ulster Orchestra featuring predominantly Russian music, with a conductor who is one of the many young talents to come from Finland. The programme includes the virtuosic Piano Concerto No 3 by Prokofiev, while the final work demonstrates the lighter side of Shostakovich as a symphonist.
