Is there such a thing as a dangerous dog, or just a bad owner?

Your calls on an MSP's plans for 'doggie asbos' and Are you feeling the inflation pinch? Graham Stewart takes your calls.

Attacks on humans have doubled since the 1991 Dangerous Dogs Act came into force. So the SNP's Alex Neil is pushing a Bill through the Scottish Parliament so the emphasis is shifted from punishing owners after attacks, to prevention. There are also proposals to give authorities a range of powers including what's been termed "doggy Asbos". So are certain breeds of dog - such as types of Pit Bulls - inherently dangerous, or does the responsibility squarely lie with the owners?

And with inflation at its highest level for 11 years, where are you feeling the pinch most?

Inflation at 3.3 per cent is at its highest for 11 years. Fuel, of course, has soared in price but what else has hit you? Does the price of a loaf or a packet of cereal give you a shock? Have you cut down on cooked breakfasts - bacon's been on the rise for a while. Or do you find it difficult to believe inflation's so bad? Clothes have never been cheaper and, if you remember the 1970s, you'll know all about real inflation!

Graham Stewart takes your calls, texts and emails.
