Snow Geese - The Desert Storm

Nature documentary about how, once every decade, the cold and snow that migratory geese fly south from the Arctic to avoid, follows them to the Mexican desert.

Tens of thousands of snow geese wheel over the dry and dusty desert on the US border with Mexico. They have spent the summer in the Arctic breeding before flying south to the sun, escaping the worst of the Arctic winter. But once every decade the cold and snow follows them. It makes for a truly magnificent sight - a blizzard of white geese over real desert snow.
