Jim investigates fungus, both good and bad. The bad fungus has killed the asparagus, while the good fungus has helped the roots of some of hedges.

Carole and Jim also continue their mini propagation series and dealing with 'semi-ripe' cuttings and they also take a look to see if the cuttings they took last month have rooted.

Carole also visits Brain MacPherson at Stewarton, Renfrewshire in his complex and stunning 2.5 acre garden.
