Latest figures show the number of home repossessions in Scotland has doubled since the start of the credit crunch. The news comes days after the Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Yvette Cooper, urged the banks to be lenient to people who're struggling with their mortgage and repossess only as a "last resort". But should the government interfere when, after all, it's made clear that your home is at risk if you can't keep up repayments? Do you blame those who took out mortgages they couldn't afford, or the banks that offered them?
