Who's telling the truth about education in Wales? Is it concerned parents, frustrated head teachers or the Assembly government?

While both England and Wales have been spending more on education in the past ten years, Wales is currently spending ten per cent less than England. This means each child in Wales gets around 拢500 a year less than their equivalent in England.

Professor David Reynolds, who has worked for the UK and Welsh Governments, says the funding gap for education in Wales is having a dramatic impact on standards in the country.
