Sara Mohr-Pietsch and composer Fraser Trainer, one of the judges, present a guide to 2009's 麻豆官网首页入口 Proms Inspire Young Composers' Competition.

They track how winners were selected, through visiting workshops and group sessions. There's a report on the premieres of the resulting works at the Royal College of Music with the Aurora Orchestra, conducted by Nicholas Collon. For 2009, the winners have the added challenge of composing a new work for the Last Night of the Proms.
