Baroque music specialist Nicholas McGegan is at the helm of this large-scale performance of Handel's most celebrated oratorio, Messiah. This is the climax of the Proms commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the composer's death. The Northern Sinfonia is joined by over 200 young voices from across the UK and a distinguished cast of soloists.
