Suzi Perry introduces coverage of the San Marino Grand Prix.
Although the Misano circuit is Valentino Rossi's home track, the Italian has had mixed fortunes since MotoGP returned there. In 2007 his engine failed early in the race and he had to watch championship rival Casey Stoner coast to victory and all but clinch the world title. However, Rossi won the race the following year, equalling Giacomo Agostini's premier class record of 68 wins in the process.
Australian Stoner is absent from Misano this time as he battles illness, but one man who is present and looking for points is British rider James Toseland, whose form has picked up after a disappointing start to the season. Charlie Cox and Steve Parrish are the commentators.
