Friday - today it's the lovely Alesha!
The award-winning Chris Moyles show with the award-winning Chris Moyles.
Show Diary - Friday
(iPlayer times in brackets)
06:35 (00:05) – We discuss google streetmap and who's on it. We also talk about our exhaustive and creative day in the studio yesterday. Calvin Harris is offering to record some vocals for the album and we wonder how many listeners would volunteer to come to London to record one second of vocals. Amazingly thousands would want to. It took Chris an hour to get home yesterday and we discuss the fact that there are too may cars on the road today. We propose ways of curbing the amount of traffic.
06:55 (00:25) – We talk about the fact that nobody's making much sense today. Carrie had a dream about Madonna and her and Tom and some other people, and Dom had a dream where we were all in a taxi and our friend Sandy was driving and didn't have satnav.
07:05 (00:35) – Aled's got some feel good songs for us to have a sing to try and wake us all up. It works and is double cowabunga fun
07:20 (00:50) – There's a lot of New York love from the world of popular music at the moment. Annie Mac is live from New York to start the weekend tonight from 7pm. We talk about going back to New York at some point. The only problem for us is that the hours suck, so maybe we’d swap with Scott for a week.
07:35 (01:05) – Chris gives his New York tour guide tips of things to do in the Big Apple
07:45 (01:15) – Jake Humphrey live on the show from Suzuka ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix. Very funny
08:15 (01:45) – Alesha band one. We talk about the stick she's got from the biddies and her laugh and then get people to text in if they love her on Strictly
08:25 (01:55) – We play a bit of the Strictly judges game with Alesha. She's too good at it so isn't allowed to play anymore. She can't predict Ozzy Osbourne's scores though
08:35 (02:05) – Dave tries to give the right Ozzy Osborne maths answers to the questions set by the team. Then we play a game of guess who Carrie's ex is on strictly with Alesha Dixon. It's a good game.
08:45 (02:15) – Andy Parfitt and Fearne pop in to talk about their time up the mountain. We then discuss Alesha's forthcoming tour and offer ourselves as support
08:55 (02:25) – Chris checks out Alesha in her bodysuit and fake fur coat on her website. Alesha giggles a lot and says she's so hot. Chris tells her a big 'ead! Very funny
