Hazel Irvine hosts live coverage from Vancouver.

It's the original dance phase of the ice dancing competition, where couples perform to a prescribed rhythm, which in Vancouver will be folk/country dance. British siblings Sinead and John Kerr have chosen a cowboy theme for their routine, which they perform to a Johnny Cash song. Commentators: Sue Barker and Robin Cousins.

The super-fast track at the Whistler Sliding Centre is the setting for the two-man bobsleigh competition, which reaches its climax. All eyes will be on German driver Andre Lange, who won gold in both the two-man and four-man events in Turin and is looking for his fourth Olympic gold medal. Commentators: Paul Dickenson and Colin Bryce.

Britain's men take on the USA in a curling group match. The Americans won bronze at the 2006 Winter Olympics, their first ever Olympic medal and their first in a major competition since 1978. Can David Murdoch's British team dent America's chances of more success in Vancouver? With commentary from Steve Cram and Rhona Martin.

The USA are also in action against hosts Canada in a keenly anticipated ice hockey game. Commentators are Bob Ballard and Brent Pope.

There is also coverage of the women's 1,500m speed skating final. Four-time Olympic medallist Anni Friesinger is the reigning world champion and won this event in 2002. Now, at the age of 33, she's hoping to end her glittering career with another Olympic gold. Commentators are Hugh Porter and Wilf O'Reilly.
