The team head to the seaside, as Paul Martin and experts Will Axon and Thomas Plant set about valuing the gems at Southend High School for Boys. Paul gets his hands on a perfectly intact decanter set that was just gathering dust in a cupboard, but will the bidders agree with him when it's taken to auction? Will finds a trinket box that the owner hopes will raise enough money to completely change his life, and Thomas hopes that a bear brought home from the Second World War will get the bidders' interest. Also, Paul heads to the Maldon Crystal Salt Company to get an insight in the production processes that get salt from the sea onto the table.
