The Best Time Of The Day Show, with The Second Half-Time Hooter, Record and Album of the Week, plus the Lester's Library and Listeners' Library music selections.

Alex is off on a bad-boy weekend so this is his last blast of daftness for the week; Richard Allinson will be sat in the Dark Lord's throne for Feelgood Friday tomorrow. Still cultivating his image as the bad boy of the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú, he named himself Johnny Havoc, but this turned into Johnny Hammock, and ended up as Fanny Craddock. Well, he did try. Plus, Amy Winehouse is the subject of News Hank today, with headlines such as, 'Amy says she will now limit herself to one drink per day: a bucket of vodka'.

The playlist is as eclectic as ever with Dio and new Swedish artist, Lisa Ekdahl, plucked from Lester's Library, and a forgotten 80s gem by Department S. from Listener's Library. More Album of the Week from Gabriella Cilmi's latest, and another spin of Record of the Week by Katherine Jenkins, plus more Pause for Thought from Chuck Yuill.
