This show takes a look back at the contest where wannabe magicians battled it out for the ultimate prize in magic: to be the Sorcerer's apprentice.

Hand-picked from thousands, the 14 sorcerees faced the toughest ride of their lives as every two days the Sorcerer set a new magical subject. But to become a master magician the sorcerees needed to learn more than just magical technique - they were also tested in a series of performance challenges, designed to turn them into confident stage performers.
