Presenter Paul Martin is joined by experts Philip Serrell and Kate Bateman as they look at people's antiques and collectibles in the picturesque Yorkshire seaside town of Whitby.
Phillip stumbles across a walking cane which has a saucy secret and Kate gets up close and personal with a piece of authentic African tribal art. But the star find of the day is made by Paul when he comes across a very unusual shaped tea caddy, fingers crossed that the bidders at the auction in Darlington recognise its uniqueness.
Paul takes a break from the antiques to find out about Victorian photographer Frank Sutcliffe who took ground breaking photographs of the people and landscape of Whitby and the surrounding area, and because of Sutcliffe's work Whitby become known as the photographers Mecca.
