Victoria Derbyshire and John Pienaar present live coverage of the general election, with reporting and analysis from our team around the UK and from the 5 live audience.

Victoria Derbyshire and John Pienaar head up 5 live's coverage of the general election.

With presenters at all three of the major UK parties' HQs, we also talk to politicians, analysts, comedians, the people in power and the people who have voted for or against them.

This has been billed as the first election where social media will play a key role, so we look at what the online world is making of election night.

Chris Addison from The Thick Of It tells us what he has made of the election campaign and what the potential outcomes could mean for the country.

And as well as the race for Number 10, we have coverage of the night's other big competition - two of our reporters are racing to be at more election declarations than anyone else.
