Tha an sgioba meidigeach aig an ospadal Chamonix a' tighinn gu co-dh霉nadh gun ge脿rr iad na l脿mhan agus na casan bho Jamie Andrew. Le casan fuadain, tha e ag ionnsachadh coiseachd a-rithist, a bhith ruith, agus a bhith a' cleachdadh na p脿irtean a th' air fh脿gail de na g脿irdeanan aige mar l脿mhan, le d矛reach aon amas na shealladh: tilleadh airson Mont Blanc a shreap mar chuimhneachan air caraid a bh脿saich.

On the 26th of January 1999, the Chamonix rescue team in the French Alps attempted to save two Scottish mountaineers stuck on the edge of a Mont Blanc glacier. After a six-day frozen ordeal, one died of hypothermia and the other suffered severe frostbite. The medical team at the Chamonix hospital saw no other solution but to amputate Jamie Andrew's hands and feet. Equipped with prosthetic feet, he learned to walk again, to run and to use his arm stumps like hands. All this with just one idea in mind - climb back up Mont Blanc in memory of his friend.
