Eileen is left feeling alone and frightened as she faces the hardest decision of her life. When Jack's past comes back to bite him, he is forced to confront his demons.

Murray's delighted when Gina suggests that he should move in with her.

Jack arrives late at the salon to find the rest of the team waiting for him to open up. He soon realises he's left his phone, keys and wallet at his latest conquest's house - he had to do a runner because her husband turned up. Hayley's disgusted by his immature attitude. Gordon asks Jack whether he finished the VAT tax returns and ordered the stock they need, but Jack admits he forgot. Gordon isn't happy. Hayley offers to do the tax returns, and Gordon decides to put Hayley in charge for the day.

When Raymond asks Eileen for her help at the Ship, she's preoccupied. She tells him she's got to get her nails done, but she's actually got an appointment at the medical centre. The doctors confirm that Eileen is ten weeks pregnant.

Jimmy's still unhappy with Scarlett following the revelation that Bob is not her biological son - Theresa is Bob's mother. Jimmy decides to leave to clear his head. When he returns he promises Scarlett his support and speaks to Raymond to get Scarlett her job back.

Fraser comes into the Oyster, but when he sees Murray come in and kiss Gina he's not happy. Murray introduces Fraser as his son, but Fraser is angry that Murray's seeing someone. He tells Murray his wife Eleanor is well but he's in the area looking for support to set up a business selling boutique toiletries.

At the Ship, Eileen hears Jimmy complain to Raymond about being a geriatric parent and it gives her food for thought. When she tries to broach the subject of her pregnancy to Raymond, he thinks she's talking about fostering and makes a point of saying they're too old for babies. Fraser meets Gina in the Tall Ship and charms her. Gina invites Fraser and his wife to her flat for dinner that evening, but when Murray arrives she realises he may be investing his money into Fraser's business rather than in a mortgage with her. She doesn't understand what hold Fraser has over Murray. When they're alone Murray tries to stand up to Fraser's demands but Fraser mentions his dead mum and Murray visibly reacts.

When Jack's lady friend calls the salon he's alarmed to find out she told her husband where he works. Hayley is struggling with the tax returns and Jack starts to annoy her. Hayley snaps and ends up telling Jack some home truths about his lothario lifestyle. When the boiler breaks Hayley starts to feel the pressure. Amber takes advantage of the situation by asking for an early lunch, and then rings in sick for the afternoon.

Eileen leaves the Tall Ship upset and Liz finds her crying in the basketball courts. Eileen blurts out that she's pregnant and is surprised to find Liz warm and supportive. Eileen tells Liz that she's thinking about having a termination and she can't tell the father, Raymond.

Jack is contacted by the husband of his one-night stand. When he gets his mobile back off him, Jack's horrified to discover that the couple have a small child. Jack realises Hayley was right earlier when she questioned his lifestyle, and he starts to try and help her out. When Hayley gets back she's pleased to see Amber back at work after Jack called her and demanded she come in. Gordon arrives and is impressed that the salon is tidy and the the tax returns have been done. Jack confesses to Hayley that he got a book-keeping mate in to help her out. When Hayley confesses to Gordon about Jack's help, Gordon mentions that they're a good team.

That evening Gina accidently sees inside Fraser's car and suspects he's been sleeping in it, but Fraser laughs it off. Fraser tells Gina how his mum, Helen, died and explains that growing up Murray refused to talk about her. He then tells her Helen looked a lot like Gina, which makes her feel sick. When Murray arrives for dinner, Gina confronts him and he shows her a picture of Helen. She only has a passing resemblance to Gina. Murray explains that Fraser was young when she died and hasn't gotten over it. Fraser overhears Murray and Gina discussing moving in together and he's shocked, but when he confronts them Murray denies it a little too quickly which angers Gina. Gina tells Murray that he can't keep throwing money at his kids - he has to open up to them instead. Gina reveals she thinks Fraser is sleeping in his car and, when Murray questions him, Fraser admits that he's split up with his wife. Murray gives in and agrees to give Fraser the money much to Gina's disapproval. Fraser leaves pleased he's managed to get what he wants. Gina demands to know why Murray won't tell Fraser the truth about them wanting to live together. Murray admits he was worried it would tip him over the edge.

When Eileen tries to mention the baby to Raymond, he interrupts her and tells her that he isn't looking for a proper relationship with her. Eileen decides not to mention the baby and makes her decision; she calls the doctor to make an appointment for a consultation for a termination.
