Elephant

Episode 10 of 25

Penelope K answers children's questions at the Information Station. Penelope K investigates if elephants' trunks are their noses, their hands or their mouths.

Penelope K runs the Information Station, a place which contains all the answers to any question a child might have. To help her find the answers, Penelope is joined by her sock puppet, Squirm; Hank and Frank, two wise cracking fish; Trewey, the shadow rabbit, and music is provided by the Rubber Band.

Penelope K has a real kerfuzzle on her hands. It seems elephants use their trunks to sniff with, to pass leaves with, to trumpet through and to hold onto their mummies with. So are elephants' trunks their noses, their hands or their mouths? Before long she realises the answer is right under her nose.
