Shoes
Penelope K answers children's questions at the Information Station. She investigates the mystery of a missing shoe and will leave no stone unturned until she finds it.
Penelope K runs the Information Station, a place which contains all the answers to any question a child might have. To help her find the answers, Penelope is joined by her sock puppet, Squirm; Hank and Frank, two wise cracking fish; Trewey, the shadow rabbit, and music is provided by the Rubber Band.
Penelope K investigates the mystery of a missing shoe and declares she'll leave no stone unturned until she finds it. Detectives Hank and Frank also take on the case and follow a set of one shoed footprints right out of the Information Station. Just as Penelope K concludes that the shoe snatcher must be a sporty horse, Hank and Frank return with a photo of the shoe, which is chewed and half buried in a nearby garden. It was the boy's own puppy that took his shoe. Puppies love chewing shoes as well as burying things.
