Jim is in the greenhouse assessing how his range of grafted vegetables, including tomatoes, sweet peppers and aubergines, is doing.

Lesley revisits her Year in Containers set up in her Tuscan garden. This time the containers are full of summer colour, and amongst other plants are the world's first scented begonia and fuchsia explosion - so-called because it will literally explode into bloom. Plus there is a look at the first ever pint-sized patio buddleja.

What makes a weed a weed? When a plant is in the wrong place. And this year particularly there seems to be an overabundance of them in our gardens. Carole takes an extended look at weeds and demonstrates different ways of getting rid of them from the garden.

July in the garden usually brings with it a nasty crop of assorted pests and diseases. Lesley, Carole and Jim take a look at the top ten garden pests and diseases, and examine ways to eradicate them from your patch.

How time flies when you are in the garden, and this week, instead of being out and about, Jim and Carole stay in our own garden and reminisce about how it has grown over the last 15 years, looking at some of our successes and failures.
