Series devoted to saving treasured heirlooms from the scrapheap, restoring them to their former glory and maybe even making some money at auction.

Eric Knowles and his intrepid team of expert restorers travel to Blenheim Palace, where they attempt to save a host of damaged heirlooms and battered antiques brought to them by members of the public.

Ceramics maestro Roger Hawkins gets to grips with a rare 1930s tobacco jar that's in such a bad way it should come with a health warning. While furniture restorer Malcolm Green battles to save a grandfather clock that's running out of time, paper conservator Louise Drover tends to a 19th-century ledger that has experienced far too many years of hard labour.

But will the experts be able to weave their magic? Can every item be saved from the scrapheap? And will any of them make it to auction and earn their owners a pretty penny?
