Penelope K runs the Information Station, a place which contains all the answers to any question a child might have. To help her find the answers, Penelope is joined by her sock puppet, Squirm; Hank and Frank, two wise cracking fish; Trewey, the shadow rabbit, and music is provided by the Rubber Band.

Penelope K ponders the possible uses of a kangaroos' pouch. Could they keep travel maps in them? After all they travel for long distances and never get lost. Or are they like seahorses who keep eggs in their pouches? In a game of find the egg, Trewey reveals that kangaroos don't lay eggs. Instead they give birth to live young, like all mammals. The final clue of a pram in the Know Dome is enough for everyone to join the dots... kangaroos' pouches are for carrying their babies in.
