Stephen Tompkinson made his name as rogue reporter Damien Day in Drop the Dead Donkey, before becoming a regular screen presence in series including Ballykissangel and Wild At Heart. He's back on our screens in a new ITV1 series as hard-bitten detective DCI Banks, detective looking into the disappearance of five teenage girls.
