Keeping you laughing through the night and playing the best selection of tunes, it's Alex. Featuring Album and Record of the Week and Lester's and Listener's Library features.

Alex is here to keep you entertained with his unique brand of witty chat accompanied by a great selection of tunes. This morning, Alex takes suggestions on how to make "retro-ise" modern items; chisel a coin slot in a flat-screen TV or put your MP3 player inside a cassette walkman, for example. There are more hideous attempts at making sentences from the letters of your name, and more tales of being rescued from embarrassing situations in "Yelp for Help". Pause for Thought is at 3.20am and the doors for the 4.15 One-Off Canteen open once again.
From Lester's Library there is a track from the new album by Chris While and Julie Matthews, and a classic track from Dexy's Midnight Runners. The Listener's Library selection is from Black Sabbath. There is another chance to hear Record of the Week from Neil Diamond, and another track from Album of the Week by The Doobie Brothers. All of the above, plus the second Half-Time Hooter of the Week.
