The best way to start the week with brilliant music and hilarious chat on the Best Time of the Day Show. There's a new Record and Album of the Week, plus more Library selections.

Fight off those Monday blues by tuning into Alex on The Best Time of the Day Show for a dose of night-owl comedy and fantastic music. It's an All New Monday so the slate has been wiped cleab; you tell us your tales of seeing someone you know in an enexpected place in "Rela-telly-tives" and as the First Click on Radio 2 campaign gets underway we talk about the magically/confusing time you first used a computer. The 4.15 One-Off Canteen is open for business as usual, and Pause for Thought at 3.20am is with Rabbi Y.Y.Rubenstein. From Lester's Library there is a new track from The Gaslight Anthem, and an underplayed track from Van Morrison's classic album 'Astral Weeks'. The Listener's Library track is by Dan Fogelberg. There is a new Record of the Week from the hotly tipped Hurts, and you can hear a track from the new Album of the Week by Elton John & Leon Russell. Expect the unexpected with Alex, and you will still be in for a surprise.
