Johnnie re-visits the decade of big hair, big riffs, Blondie, Bolan and Bowie. On this week's show, Johnnie chats to keyboardist and singer-songwriter Paul Carrack about the decade that launched his career.
Following thee release of his 14th solo album, and ahead of three concerts performing with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Paul reflects on where it all began - in the pub rock band Ace. Paul talks about growing up in Sheffield, achieving fame and success and playing with Roxy Music.
Also on the show Maria Mawson from Sheffield talks Queen and Dire Straits, whilst remembering what the decade meant to her in 'My 70s', and Johnnie spins three gems from a classic 70s album.
