Ronnie resolves to deal with Michael once and for all when he frames her for the break-in at the Vic. Kat lashes out at Alfie as he tries to reassure her about Tommy's safety.

Ronnie鈥檚 questioned by police over the Vic break in, Roxy鈥檚 indignant on her behalf. Watching Michael gloat, Ronnie鈥檚 suspicious. Jack鈥檚 bought Ronnie an eternity ring. Roxy urges Jack to consider the possibility of a prison sentence but Jack insists Ronnie鈥檚 coming home. In the empty boxing club, Ronnie confronts Michael; she knows he set her up. Desperate to protect Jack and Roxy, Ronnie insists Michael tell Roxy everything or she will. To Ronnie鈥檚 surprise, Michael breaks down confessing he鈥檚 a horrible person, he made a pass at Ronnie because she understands him. Ronnie insists that by going to prison she鈥檒l take responsibility for her guilt and thinks Michael should do the same. Michael agrees, watching intently as Ronnie places Danielle鈥檚 locket in her bag. Later, Michael 鈥渄iscovers鈥 the locket in Tommy鈥檚 pram, feigning surprise. Roxy鈥檚 horrified as she recognises it, turning on Ronnie. Ronnie desperately denies putting it there, insisting Michael set her up. Roxy walks away in disgust. Smug Michael grins and follows her, leaving Ronnie in tears.

Kat鈥檚 paranoid for Tommy鈥檚 safety. Claiming Alfie can鈥檛 understand her feelings, she sneers that he鈥檚 not a real man. Both furious, Alfie and Kat slam around the Vic until they can鈥檛 help laughing. Alfie insists he understands Kat鈥檚 feelings, but he鈥檚 hopeful that after the sentencing they can be a normal family

Abi鈥檚 determined to tell the truth about the Vic break in. Jay鈥檚 irritated; he won鈥檛 back her up.

Poppy convinces Shirley to try a spray tan at the salon, leaving Jodie in charge of the caf茅. Shirley returns tanned bright orange and drunk on free cava.

A taxi pulls up on the square, a man gets out, accidentally ripping his suit jacket. Grief-stricken Janine鈥檚 furious that Lydia鈥檚 son Norman has come for the funeral and insists he鈥檚 not invited, but she鈥檚 overruled by Pat.
