Jackie Bird presents highlights from the World Pipe Band Championships 2011 from Glasgow Green. Each year Glasgow hosts this prestigious competition that draws the best pipe bands from all round the world, this show has the top performances from the Grade One competition and of course features the band that wins the title World Pipe Band Champion 2011. There's also background features on some of the groups who have travelled thousands of miles to compete and a look at just what it means
to win the ultimate pipe band prize.
