1Xtra's Gemma Cairney takes to the streets of Notting Hill to discover more about Carnival's West London home.

For 2 days a year it plays host to Europe's biggest street festival, with up to a million people hitting the streets of W10 and W11.

365 days a year though it's a diverse and busy area, home to hidden recording studios, an iconic tower block, skate parks, one of London's most famous markets and a lot of history. During her special Notting Hill tour Gemma will be hearing from Toddla T, Ms Dynamite, the Mangrove Steelband, soca DJ D.Tee, Aaron Horn, Pesci, Masquerade 2000 and video director Jamie Cox.
