Barricades in Kosovo

In the few years since Kosovo declared independence controversy has been simmering in the north of the country. Many Serbs living there still look to Belgrade and refuse to recognise Kosovo. Some have erected barricades to keep the Kosovan authorities out. The last few months have seen sporadic outbreaks of violence between Kosovan Serbs and Kosovan Albanians. Are there examples to be found elsewhere in Kosovo of communities where the people from different ethnic backgrounds have friendlier relationships despite the tensions left by the war?
