Joe Crowley meets John and Lyndon who currently live in London, but for years have dreamt of escaping the rat race and moving to the countryside. They have recently bought a 1950s three bedroom semi in the commuter village of Balcombe, West Sussex and have big plans, but need to agree on how they will extend the property on a tight budget.
Joe takes them to meet a couple with a cleverly designed extension to get some tips.
Plus we are in Liverpool to find out why hundreds of local houses have been boarded up and left empty for years and we join one of the empty property officers working tirelessly to bring abandoned houses back into use.
