Joe Crowley meets civil engineer Alan Jackson and his actress daughter Katy who think they have got what is needed to take on an empty property. Alan lost his wife after a long battle with cancer and now he wants to start a new life by swapping London's suburbia for the countryside.

They view an old chapel for sale in West Sussex and get advice from professional barn builder Steve Brewer and his partner Sarah, who are close to finishing the transformation of a cluster of old barns in to one beautiful home.

Plus, a look at how residents on the south coast are campaining to save a historic bath house that has been empty for 14 years, and we join one of the UK's Empty Property officers as he tracks down the owners of forgotten houses and reinvigorates the neighbourhoods blighted by them.
