Late 2011, and a group of young, talented, up-and-coming musicians get a once in a life time opportunity as they gather under one roof in Ullapool with some of Scotland's finest traditional musicians for a unique week of mentoring and learning - this is The House of Music.
With 2011 seeing F猫is Rois celebrate its 25th year, this innovative new project saw the rich cultural baton of traditional music being passed on to the next generation as our lucky young apprentices lived with and studied alongside the renowned tradition bearers, with a concert at Eden Court in Inverness the culmination of the week's work.
The tradition bearers include Angus Grant (fiddle), Kenna Campbell (singing), Rona Lightfoot (piping/singing), Fergie MacDonald (accordion) and John Carmichael (accordion).
