Jake Humphrey introduces the best action from qualifying in Sakhir as Formula One returns to Bahrain following last year's decision to cancel the race due to the pro-democracy protests.
This is the eighth staging of a Formula One race in Bahrain - a 3.36 mile circuit famed for its long straights, which are widened at the end to encourage overtaking. Opened in 2004, the 15-turn track was designed with spectators in mind as the sweeping grandstands enable fans to get a bird's eye view of the action.

The Ferraris of Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso were second and third quickest respectively.
