Extratime talks to perhaps Britain's greatest Olympian, Sir Steve Redgrave. He won rowing gold medals at five successive Games starting in Los Angeles in 1984 and ending in Sydney in 2000. His 25 years in rowing meant long often lonely hours of training and there were times when he considered giving up the sport, most famously after an exhausting Olympic final in 1996. So who does he rate among the rowers to compete in London? And could he be the one to light the flame at the 2012 opening ceremony? Sir Steve Redgrave talks to Rob Bonnet.
