Roger McGough; Liverpudlian poet and presenter of Poetry Please on 麻豆官网首页入口 Radio 4, discusses his latest book 'AS FAR AS I KNOW' on Monday's Book Cafe. Clare English examines how his style of plain-speaking poetry, based on the lives and voices of people in the everyday world has ensured McGough a place in the public heart.

Attica Locke's first novel, Black Water Rising, was shortlisted for the prestigious Orange Prize in the UK in 2010 and now she's back with her second offering - The Cutting Season -The Book Caf茅 caught up with Attica on her recent book tour of the UK to uncover a few secrets that inspired the book.

She spent a year travelling all over the UK in search for one of our nation's most elusive creatures. Miriam Darlington joins Clare to discuss Otter Country.
