I have been an avid listener to R Scotland for many years as my job involved a lot of driving. For the past 7 weeks I've had the uninterrupted pleasure of Kaye and your show to keep me amused and thought it apt today to get in touch. I have been off work now for 7 weeks with my leg up to my knee in plaster. I decided to take up badminton again and now in my forties realised I missed the sport and although I share your passion for golf a good sweat would do me no harm !! Alas after the third week my lunge to the net snapped my Achilles tendon and I fell like a sack o tatties to the floor !! Apart from falling off the kerb and twisting my ankle While slightly tipsy this is the only injury I have had and its a nightmare. I have to keep my foot elevated and cannot bare any weight so its difficult doing anything or getting around the house. I borrowed a wheelchair for ease getting about the house but half the paint is off the doors trying to guide myself through !!Ìý - ÌýAnon.Ìý Ìý
