The race has proved eventful since its introduction in 2010, and Sebastian Vettel's victory last year helped clinch a second consecutive constructors' championship for Red Bull.
Double world champion Vettel is finding the going tougher this season, with 2010 race winner Fernando Alonso leading the challenge as he pursues a first world title for six years. Lewis Hamilton is another former world champion vying to stay in contention, and he has finished runner-up at the Korean International Circuit in the two previous years.
