The Church of England's governing General Synod is about to vote on whether to allow women to become bishops.聽A majority of church members support the measure 鈥� as does Rowan Williams, the outgoing Archbishop of Canterbury and his successor Rt Rev Justin Welby. We talk to women on both sides of the debate about the impact of聽vote and the possible consequences for the church.
The woman growing a moustache for Movember

Siobhain Fletcher, 36,聽has聽polycystic ovary syndrome and has spent years trying to hide her facial hair, but this month she has decided to stop shaving and grow a moustache and beard for ''. The charity campaign encourages men to grow a moustache聽for the month of November to raise awareness and funds for men's health - specifically prostate cancer and testicular cancer. Jane speaks to Siobhain about why she decided to do it.

Singer songwriter is 24, has just released her first album, Devil in Me and will be touring the UK throughout December 2012. She is a self-confessed obsessive when it comes to music, who started playing the piano at five and held music competitions in her house for all her friends, where she usually came first. She tells Jane Garvey how she turns her own emotional experiences into songs.
Female Apprentices
Since 2010 there has been a huge growth in the number of people starting apprenticeships with over a million people joining a scheme. And for the first time the number of women and girls starting an apprenticeship has outnumbered men.聽There are now over 1,200 job roles to choose from ranging from information technology, leisure, publishing and law but young women聽apprentices still dominate traditionally female sectors such as health and retail.聽How can the range of apprenticeship roles being considered by girls be broadened?聽 Jane is joined by Karen Woodward, Central Division Area Director from the and by Fred Grindrod, Apprenticeships Policy & Campaign Officer at the .
