Contemporary drama. Gary and Lisa are only in their early thirties, but they have been treading water for years. Hapless Gary is completely oblivious, so is distraught when Lisa suddenly announces that she wants a divorce; he thought they were happy, he thought they were going to have kids. His mates tell him that it will all blow over, but Lisa is determined that this is the end. Finally deciding to 'man up' and be a good friend to Lisa, the two reluctant housemates get on as never before. They cook for each other, Gary does the cleaning and even drops her off on nights out.
