David Whitely updates some of the stories covered in the past. Including the Essex villagers who successfully campaigned for the return of their bus service.
David Whiteley revisits stories from earlier programmes to find out what happened next.
Two years ago villagers in Essex were campaigning for the return of their bus service. After their story was featured on the programme a solution was found that could be shared by other rural communities.
There's also been a resolution for developers battling with residents trying to stop houses being built in towns and villages across the East by having it declared as a village green.
Four years ago David exposed two men who were conning money out of job seekers. Now we can report on how justice has been done.
And there's another happy ending for residents of an estate who are over 拢100,000 better off after their plight was shown on Inside Out.
For decades the Old Maltings at Ditchingham in Suffolk was a landmark and reminder of industry in the town. But it has another tale to tell. During World War 2, white American GIs were billeted here, segregated from their black comrades who had to sleep in tents. Local villagers who remember that time tell the story of how they fought against discrimination.
