An adventure into the worlds of some of the best children's books written for primary-age children. Featuring Nelly the Monster Sitter and Jamie Johnson: The Kick Off.

Bringing Books to Life is back, taking us on another wonderful adventure into the worlds of some of the best books written for primary-age children. The real and animated worlds collide to suggest the wonder that is contained within the pages of each book and the larger-than-life imaginations of a range of celebrity presenters. We learn how these celebrities discovered books, what reading means to them and why they love to dive into a good story.

From comedies like Nelly the Monster Sitter, through to action in Jamie Johnson: The Kick Off and voyages into the amazing words and worlds of Benjamin Zephaniah, Jacqueline Wilson and Anthony Horowitz, the programme touches on the huge range of reading experiences available to young people. It also encourages viewers to explore and develop their own taste in books.
