Jo Edwards started playing tenor in her local band just over a year ago; she talks to Frank Renton about the pleasure of making music with players of all ages and abilities.
Jo Edwards is a familiar media personality perhaps best known at the moment for her work on a television weather desk. She started playing tenor horn in her local band just over a year ago but, at the time she was actually playing saxophone. Undaunted she swapped the reed for a mouthpiece and started making noises around the house that her family said were nothing like the sound a brass instrument should make. Tonight she talks to Frank Renton about the pleasure of making music with players of all ages and abilities.
